Both Steph MacGregor and Joel Makkonnen were very impressed with our work in the country and came up with lots of new ideas. During their stay they visited our headquarters in Addis Ababa as well as the AWSEC in Bahir Dar. They had the chance to speak and interact with the students of the junior and the senior class. Steph, an experienced marketing expert, also offered to coach some of the students of the Bahir Dar senior class that are in the process of setting up their businesses. Steph and Joel also saw our activities in the Sebeta Blind School that has recently opened its gates thanks to the contribution of Ethiopiaid. Both are working on several AW projects from their homes in Ottawa and Washington DC and they promised to be back in Ethiopia soon!!
